Bag & Tripod advice

I've just taken the plunge after months of reading, thinking and weighing up the costs - I've purchased a Canon 600d & Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6.

I went for the 600 as it was only ~ £35 more than the 550d, but the 60d was too much for my first real camera!

Now, I'm going to be travelling abroad with this kit soon and so I'm looking for advice on good quality yet not too bulky/heavy carry bags and tripods.
The bag will need to carry at least 2-3 lenses and the tripod nice and sturdy.

Any help would be much appreciated, cheers

You didn't mention cheap for the tripod, which means that it is doable
I'm looking at getting a Feisol tripod, it's a Gitzo clone (but cheaper) where the legs fold back over the head making it much more compact.

For bags, there are loads of threads on here, I'm a fan of FStop gear bags though.
