OK, so I "need" a new bag, preferably a rucksack design. I want to carry the following:

7D plus 300 f4 & EX1.4 (all attached if poss), my 6D with either 24-105 or 70-200 f2.8 attached and a tripod (which may have my birding scope attached).

I have:

Think Tank Streetwalker - Great bag, a bit short for the long lens combo
Tamrac Adventure 7 - the 2 part design makes it difficult to take the long lens combo.
Vertex 300 - It's just very, very big - I tend to use it as a "store" for my kit rather than a bag.

I'd rather not go too deep either, as I hate being the awkward one knocking into everyone with my rucksack.

I'm willing to pay up to around £200 (maybe more) for the right bag. Any ideas ?

I've got a Lowepro Flipside Sport 15l which fits my gripped 5d3 with a 70-200 2.8 along with a 150mm macro and 24-70 2.8. There is also tripod carry mount on the side

Thanks guys. I'll check out the 200, my Vertex 300 is huge, far too big to be "transportable".

Whatever you get, make sure it's bigger than you need...because you will buy more gear and need a bigger bag ;)
True dat ^

Although I went the other way and bought a rucksack that held everything I own then had to go out and buy a carry round bag for when I go out lol
(Both are crumpler btw ;-) )

I have had a lot of bags in my time, had a couple of very good ones but never found that perfect bag yet, good luck with your search :)

You could get an f stop gear bag and use whatever ICU fits what you want to use, might be more than £200 though depending on what you choose.
