These were very skittish. Took ages of slow stalking to get anywhere near enough to use the macro. sometimes even the movement of the lens focusing was enough to make them disappear. In the end I had to resort to putting canes in the ground around the garden to try to encourage them to alight there and just wait for them.........

Bit dark and noisy but I had several strong coffees this morning to get me going and ended up using iso800 and underxsposing by a stop to get them vaguely sharp. Need beta blockers!

Hope you enjoy them!

I'm off to explore the local river tonight. Haven't been landscaping for yonks and have probably forgotten how :(

Can rely on you to see things differently! Like that last one for that reason.

Available light macro does look good but it is hard work!

Very nice Gandhi ... and very GREEN indeed ... :D: ... (y) ... especially like your take on the last one ...

:p

I like that last one, it's like it's peeking over the edge at you wondering what you are doing!

another vote for the last one, beauty of a pic. Might be tempted to crop a bit off the left but that's being picky (y)
