For anyone interested in a battery grip for their D5000 I have just purchased and received the 'Ownuser' version.
Am very impressed, the build quality is very good, unit fits the D5000 perfectly and everything works fine. It makes a world of difference to the balance and feel of the D5000, much more comfortable to hold in my largish hands and just feels more balanced with larger lenses on camera.
I haven't used the additionally supplied remote control yet or the additional battery pack but these look OK as well.
The Ownuser battery grips are available from Gadget Infinity, delivery was only about 1 week from order date.
