Battery grips

Yes
I have owned battery grips for Canon 300D, 400D and 450D bodies and all came with the battery pack caddy included, and some with a AA battery caddy.

I decided to buy a grip for my 5D and won one from eBay. It was light on description - "used condition. As described" but had a photo of the Canon BG-E4 so I was happy to proceed. Yesterday the seller emailed me to check I was aware that the grip came without any battery caddie. I responded that as the item would have been purchased with a caddy and the description did nothing to say otherwise, that I was quite reasonable Tomlin expect the grip to have the battery caddy. I wanted to check that I'm right and it would have been sold with caddy originally.

Thanks.

Yes theses do come with an AA holder, but sometimes theses do get losted,if the price is good enought to reflect this part missing, you should be able to pick one up :)

I obviously didn't explain well enough, it is the BP 511 battery caddy/cassette that is missing not the AA one. Ironically I can find the AA one online but not the one I need.

Sorry, but they should come with both, the only place i would think you would get one from is Canon,if it was me i withdraw my bid,and explain to e.bay why :)
