Battery help for 1d please

I could do with a spare battery (LP-E4) or 2 for my 1d MKIII and am struggling a little more than usual. Normally I would buy an after market jobby from the nice people at 7dayshop and that would be the end of it. However this time theirs didn't fit the camera. So I tried an ebay buyer and theirs didn't work either.

Now I know there will be those who say 'just go and buy an official one', but at £100 or more it's a fair chunk for a battery. Do any of you nice people know where I can get hold of an after market version for reasonable money please?

I used a 7DayShop one with no real issues when I had a 1DIII, I say no real issues because it worked fine but the fitment wasn't quite 100% - is that what you mean?
 
Have a look for s/h ones by Canon,try an add in the wanted section :)

Just an afterthought,the 1D MkIII,doesnt come cheap,is it worth hunting around for the cheap batteries.

Send it back and get them to replace it then. Why buy something else when the product that you've already spent money on should work?

Thats where I got my spare batteries for my 1D MKII from, batteries still working fine after over a years worth of use and right price.

New £100 used from MPB £38

I sent it back and asked them to either replace it if they believed it to be defective, or give me a refund if they felt it was the same as all their stock. They sent me a note saying they would be giving me a full refund.
 
I bought one from Mifsuds on ebay £77 +£4 delivery slightly cheaper than their online store price. here

I was going to buy a copy but they were quite expensive for a non OEM so decided to buy genuine but I have heard lots of problems with the copys as well lasting only 5-6 charges.

You have to be brave with 7dayshop ones and shove it in and out of the charger a few times. It will fit the camera correctly then as well. I had the same problem with the 2 I got for my 1d3 but now there's no difference to the genuine one except they only last about 80%
 
Too late now, already sent it back. Thanks for the note anyway. I have bought one from Amazon now, will give that a try and if it still doesn't work I might try 7dayshop again.

I will get there in the end.
