For anyone who might be interested, there is a a new series on BBC1 (first episode was last night 17th July, 2030h to 2100h) with Bill Bailey, on portraits of NHS staff. There are six programmes, one of the artists is a sculptor four are painters and the sixth is a photographer: Brock Elbank.

I'm not sure how much I enjoyed the format of the first episode (it was the sculptor) but it was still an interesting watch, and I plan to watch the rest of the series.
The episode I watched introduced the artist and subject, and looked at how their interaction led to the final sculpture, as well as some details on the actual crafting of the sculpture.
