Hi guys,

Be gentle, this is my first macro(ish) pic. What do you think, C&C welcome. I'm VERY new to this, I have an Olympus E510 with a 40-150mm kit lens which I took this pic with.

Does anyone have any suggestions for the best lens for the Olympus EVOLT for macro work. Please, not too expensive either...:D

I'm toying with buying a 50mm older OM lens and fitting an adapter ring to it, a.) because it's so much cheaper and b.) to see what it's like to take manual pics.

i have only just started learning macro myself and have the sigma 105mm lens and thanks to folks on here have picked up a few tips

Thanks guys, I'll look into a sigma lens. What is the best size to get??? It's all new to me, and I hear lots of conflicting advice, some say 50mm, others 100mm etc......

Any advice duely appreciated.
 
Hi Jimbojet didnt do much ,just cropped it in a bit,sharpened once and then played about with the curves.
