Bee on Thistle

I don't really do insects/macro (this reminds me why!) and all credit to those of you who produce some superbly detailed shots.
However I couldn't walk past this Bee on a flowering Thistle head without at least trying.

D700 + 300 f4 PF handheld.

I love the colours and shapes. And the detail on the bee is not bad either - the wings and fur look good. Head a little soft perhaps, but that doesn't spoil it for me.
