Beginner attempt at high key - A winch

I saw this object and decided to deliberately overexpose it to try for a high key image. I've never made one before.

A good effort, however there does seem to be a faint grey area in the middle of the photograph. I have highlighted it for you.

I think you have something there Hawthorn and if you can have a look at the issue Eucris highlights you may make it even better.
