Beginner shots in Wales

Hey guys,

Not long picked up a Sony A300 DSLR. And I've been primarily interested in photographing local architecture. (i'd love to look at surf photography but housing is crazy expensive)

More than anything I'm looking for critique from any one and everyone.

Hi Rob, if you're after critique of pictures you're probably better posting a couple of your favourites in the thread here and asking for C&C on those specific ones

Ok, number one. I like this alot. If it'll take a bit of sharpening, and a bit of movement on the crop (I'd like to see a little more space above the door) up the contrast a little, and that's a good shot I love the cracking in the walls. I'd be doing some pp on that to bring those out a bit more!

Number two, that's really out of focus, and very noisy. Also overexposed on the boat. I'm not sure it could be saved.

Number three, I'm not a big fan of looking up a buildings. The sky is half blue, half blown (Overexposed)

Number one definitely being the best. Good start with a new camera, well done.
