hey there.

i'm new on this forum and thought i should post a photo as a little introduction type thing.

this photo was taken on my sister's minolta dynax 4 with ilford xp2 film.

it's of the guitarist ben from one of my favourite bands, dive dive. it was taken at the custard factory in birmingham.

as you can tell, it has a ruddy great scratch on the negative. anyone have nany suggestions as to how to deal with that?

There are incredibly skilled people who can deal with scratches on negs, but it's really easy to deal with minor scratches like that in Photoshop et al. In Photoshop check out the Help file on the healing tool. In Paint Shop Pro you'd use the retouching tools.
