Just ordered a Benro Gimbal head for my tripod. Now the head comes with the PL-100 release bracket and i have also purchased a PL-85 release bracket as well.My two biggest lenses i shall be using it with will be the Nikon 500AFS and the Sigma 120-300 f2.8.
On the Benro site it says the PL-85 is suitable for the 500 AFI but when i measure the 500AFS foot it is longer and is actually longer than the PL-100( this is the one i planned to use for the 500AFS i have ) size which the Benro site says is for the 600AFS.
Anyone else use the PL-100 or PL-85 feet with their Benro Gimbal head and if so which lens do you use them with. I just assumed the Benro release bracket should be slightly longer than the foot it being placed on--is this correct.
ps- My 500AFS actually has a Kirk LP47 foot on it just now so that may be longer than the Nikon version.
