Is this cropped from a larger picture? Only asking as the natural reaction is to wonder what he is looking at and there is nowhere to follow his gaze to

Maybe leave some more of the picture to the left if you can.

Not cropped at all, used a Tamron 70 - 300mm at full focal length..

Think I took "fill the frame" a bit too literal!!!
