I'd be interested to see others work of seaside building scenes.

Just my opinion of course, but I would prefer no 1 if the verticals were straightened and no 2 looks soft (the clock and the street sign are not sharp and make the issue more noticable than it may have been otherwise. It may be due to poor focussing or camera shake, but as there is no exif data available it's hard to say.

Nicely exposed though (y)
 
I agree Ed. Little or no PP work and little time spent on the shots themselves. Just pure, unadultrated memories of a day out for me and mine.
I must go back though and make a more thorough job.
