Best AA Batterries

Hi i Have a S9500 (fuji finepix) And i am wondering what are the best batteries for it as i am going camping for a week and i only have 1 set of batteries and they wont last for a whole week.
 
Lithium
e.g. Energiser Lithium Ultimate (not rechargeable)
 
Rechargeable, you can recharge them in the car through the fire lighter.
 
Pack of Energizer Lithiums, £6.85 for six (4 + 2 free) in Superdrug

Get over a 1000 shots without flash on my DSLR, fair bit lighter too than the usual AA's
 
Sanyo Eneloops...if kept unused for a year, they only lose approx 15% charge.

To get the best out of these top quality batteries, you do need a top quality charger to analyse and trickle charge/refresh them..
 
Definitely eneloops. Don't be put off by the fact that they're *only* 2000 mAh, that's a genuine 2000 mAh unlike a lot of the figures you see quoted. They really do hold a charge for an amazing amount of time too.

check out 7dayshop they have decent prices, about £8.50 including a charger. I bought quite a few, and haven't regretted it at all.
 
I have 8 Energizer 2500mAh rechargeable batteries and they are great. I got mine from Amazon for about £15. Thats 8 batteries and an adapter for charging them in the car. Good deal me thinks.


Oh, and they are also quick charge, so it only takes an hour to charge them.

I have the same camera and these energizers last for ages,are you shooting with the live view (LCD)or EVF as this can make a hell of a difference.

Eneloops!!

Unless you are discharging your batteries every day and need to recharge every night anyway, Eneloop are the way to go, and the good thing is they seem to die quite quickly, So you don't go through that 'shall I change them now or get a few more slow recycles out of them' thing.
 
Eneloops - I use them in everything. I even use C-shells so that me AA Eneloops can be even more flexible.
 
I ordered a pack of 4 Sanyo Eneloops which arrived today just to try them out after reading so much about them.
I put them in my 430EX MK11 & instant response,i am over the moon with them.:):thumbs:

Ahhh...you do kind of have to sign up for 5 years in Afghan first...lol
 
I use Palo Cell Rechargable batteries. Bought of Thbay only £6.48 delivered
2800mah and can only speak from experience they are spot on. Use them in my Sunpak Flash and being 2800mah they handle it no prob`s.
The other half bought me an in car charger from Tesco for under a tenner and I can use it in car or USB off computer. Probably the best little gadget I use. The Palo cells work great in it. Value for money all day long. :thumbs:
 
I use eneloops in everything I can (they don't get on with some grips) - I find that i can leave them in a cupboard for ages and they are still reasonably well charged when I pull them out. They do a neat little USB based charger for two batteries that is quite useful.
