Best compact 35mm (ish) lens for Nex?

A week ago i got hold of a NEX3 and i'm thinking of getting a few MF lenses for it, ideally i'm looking for something around 35mm so i get close to 50mm eqiv

the contax g 35mm f2 or one of the vort 35mm f2.5 comes to mind, but i don't really know much about the RF lenses can anyone advise?
 
I suppose that you have to think "what do I want from the lens?".
Have you thought of a manual adaptor for M42 fit lenses, and buying a Pentax Takumar 35 f3.5 or maybe a Pentacon 35?
Both these lenses will do a terrific job, as long as you are happy to use manual focus.
 
the m42/SLR lenses are certainly options but a tad bulkier than i'd like with the nex as a walkabout - don't get me wrong I'll certainly pick up a basic 3rd party sony alpha -> nex adapter just to use my existing range on it but if i'm buying specifically for the NEX it needs to be a compact solution
