Best low cost pay site to host pics?

I've had pics on webshots for a long while now and it's gradually gone down hill (as we all know)!
Now, regardless of my name I am happy (well not that happy) to pay a small cost per year (£25?) to host and store offsite, my pics.
I would also like to be able for it to show as it's on my own domain name. Also for people to get a nice size pic as they scroll through without having to click again to see the picture properly.
I've found smugmug but before I pay any other tips??

There's plenty of cheap hosting for around £25 a year which will include a free domain name. However that will give you the space and hosting but you'll have to find a way to display the pics how you want. I use Dreamhost for my site because they have very easy 1 click installs for wordpress, joomla etc and unlimited storage and bandwidth, and I used a promo code to get the price down to $9 for the 1st year.

However you could always use a pro flickr account? It's about $25 a year (20 quid) and you have unlimited storage and sets, and it stores the original pics from what I understand. You'll be able to access it from www.flickr.com/photos/<yourname> so it's like having your own url/domain anyway. It's another option worth looking at.

Also for people to get a nice size pic as they scroll through without having to click again to see the picture properly.

This is down to your own design, and you'd have to think of load times (if the page contains 500 large pics it will take an age to load). You'll possibly have to look at alternatives to 1 page containing lots of large pics. Going into a bit too much detail now but you can store the full sized pics and then assign them a size to display on the web page so you have the original full size but the page will display it at like 600x400 or whatever.
