Hi all

I have a light tent that I started doing a few pictures for my girlfriends parents in. One of my bulbs has gone, and was wondering if anyone knew of any reputable places online for bulbs, or South Wales for that matter?

Can provide pictures of the bulbs if required.

Thanks

is it blue daylight bulbs you want? I ordered small screw-in versions which were wrong so I have 4 of these.

Hang on, maybe someone can identify it for me - You can tell I'm new to this can't you!

Pic on its way

Heres a good site... its where I bought mine.

http://www.lamps2udirect.com/

do a search on the site for "craft" and you will get all the blue daylight ones to correct for indoor lighting

Where did the tent and lights come from? The supplier would be my first place to look for spares. They might even be listed on their site (or even in stock if they came from a bricks'n'mortar shop).

China / Hong Kong I think, my other half's parents produced a box and ask if I could do some pictures. They then told me I could keep it, so didn't enquire any further.
I did ask when it went but it was a while ago now, from what can be recollected it was an ebay job and from a quick search they all look pretty similar.

If you take the dead bulb into a lighting specialist, they may be able to match it - or even take the one that still works in and see if you can match the colour temperature. If you can't get a perfect match, get a new matched pair of bulbs with as wide a spectrum of emitted light as possible (and a spare or two!) then set your camera's manual white balance to match the new bulbs.

Sound advice, Thanks
