Best place to buy CF Cards?

Looking to get some new CF Cards (my 2 and 4GB cards are really too small now). Where do people recommend getting cards from? (looking for 16 or 32GB cards)

Hi I normally try 7 day shop, play, amazon, then the likes of jessops, Jacobs, dixons, currys, comet etc etc to see if they have any offers on
 
7 day shop for me. I got a couple of 16gb Duracell 600x speed with a 10 year guarentee for less than £60 delivered. Been a customer for over 10 years now and I'm still using the rechargeable batteries from the first order.
 
Fair play :) any any recommendations of what type to get for a 7D shooting in raw?

Personally I use Sandisk, FIL also has Lexar cards.

Would have thought the extreme cards would be great as o think they are UDMA
 
Just watch out for eBay, there are lots of forgeries on there. Some other outlets might also purchase from eBay in order to maximise profit and then unwittingly sell a copy.
 
I have always used premier ink and never had an issue. They often have deals on CF cards.

I guess that's a yes then. Never had Duracell CF cards.. hope they're reliable and good.
 
wow its aminefield out there... I have been using sandisk extreme III 30mb 4g

These are hard to find now... I dont know if ultra is better or worse than extreme... in fact theres so many diff types now I am lost :(

I just want reliable 4g cards as fast as the 30g 200x sandisk i use or better and from someone who takes paypal... any reccomendations?

Exact same position here. Use the 4gb extreme III which I don't think are available anymore, not sure if ultra is better or worse, I just want 4gb extreme III's

seen some on ebay but darnt risk unless eller as 20 thousand feedback or summat and nobody complaining of copies...
 
really? does nobody at all know what the equivelant to an extreme III 30mb 200x cf card is?
 
amazon (from them direct not resellers on there), sandisk every time

yes of cours it does.. this is a forum full of photogrpahers who a vast amount of use cf cards.. if you can guage off them which make is the most reliable or fastest then thats the make you want..

no there not all the same no matter what it says in the spec..
 
I've got 2 of the Duracell 600x 16gb and they are very good. The burst seems to go on for ever, I tried it out on a Tornado and got well over 140 before I stopped shooting and it would of gone for a few more after that I think. Canon says it should take up to 126 by the way.
