Best Snapshot Camera??

I want a smaller camera i can take out on horseback with me, I quite like the look of the Canon G10???
Any recommendations?

I have a Canon G11 and I love it! However it is quite large, if I wanted something to keep in the pocket I would look at the Powershot S90 or S95 as they have the same sensor. The thing I love with the G-series though is the manual controls. I tend to stick mine in programme and then just adjust the EV to however I need it.

Samsung EX1, Olympus XZ-1, Panasonic LX-3 or 5 if you want something a bit smaller but with just as good image quality.

Panny LX3 is old news now, the latest one is the LX5.

If you want better IQ you could look at the GF3 which with a pancake prime attached is the size of an LX5, plus they've got a very small zoom coming out soon too.
