Hi all,
I've not posted on here in a couple of weeks :( anyway, I was at the in-laws and spent most of the day in the garden chasing butterflies and what not, fun life eh :) Anyway the evening arrived and after having a few aperitifs  I gazed out of the patio doors onto the terrace and I saw this blooming huge Wolf spider :wideyed: So off out I went to investigate and I saw that it was a female with all the baby spiderlings on her back.
I would say she was at least 2 inches across and I would say at least 250 babies on-board. If one falls off she will wait for it to get back on.
These photos are also on my flickr, not linked to the photo.

Here is a face shot
