I just got a parcel today from Formatt, makers of Hitech filters. They have produced a new version of their 10 stop filter and this time it comes with a gasket like the Big Stopper. It is also available in both 85mm & 100mm sizes and Formatt are taking orders for it now.

I will have a play about with it over the next couple of weeks and see if it compares to my Big Stopper.

Be intresting to see if its better than the last one as from what I remember it didnt really compare to the Lee or B&W. get some pics up :D

You are right, I have the last one and it was terrible for colour casts.

I have been assured that this new one has an improved Dye which cuts down on the IR radiation.

Unfortunately testing will have to wait as this is the Hitech version that I got sent. I have to wait till the Lee version arrives next week before testing.
 
I have the B+W which has a slightly red cast, nothing which isn't easily corrected in PP.

How much did you pay for the Hitech?
 
The Hitech retails for £60+vat which is a bit cheaper than the 'Big Stopper'
