big yellow and crispy

driving in nottingham today. noticed a pole at the side of the road. had the remains of a big yellow box on it. looks like somebody had set fire to it.
the repair guy just sat at the side of it looking bemused.
dont think he,d fix that one.
one "safety" camera that wasnt very safe.:shrug:

I remember the one a few years back on the A420 heading towards Swindon it had its head removed a couple of times before they finally let it RIP

Yeah people do that round here. Trouble is all they do is wind the fines and taxes up to pay for the replacements

The one on the main road round the corner from me is right up against a garden wall...someone came along looped some tyres around it and let rip. Only problem was it set fire to the shed the other side of the wall...

That was before Avon and Somerset came along with their Monitrons...:annoyed:

Many of the London Gatsos have CCTV watching over them.

I camera that wasn't very safe was the one a mate of mine hit while trying to avoid a fox. If it hadn't been there he would have run off onto a verge with minimal damage....

Now, convince me that help reduce road accidents!
