I only started doing BIF about 6 months ago - quite enjoying it! Mostly with the E-3 + 50-200 f2.8-3.5 SWD and the 300 f2.8. Loads more on the picasa pages (see my sig) - this is just a selection to share, probably not the best stuff, just what I found today...

I did that with some of my earlier shots and quickly decided I wanted to show the birds as they are - with their jesses. If I was putting something on the wall, I might remove them, depending on whether the artistic benefit was strong enough. Just my own opinion...

Yup - zoomed all the way back - you can get too close at the Raptor Foundation...

This fellow tried to land on my head - now that was too close:
