Bittern Mainline steam

i hope you dont mind what i say as it is rare for you to see an A4 with 2 tenders .

i think you should of got the loco and both tenders in the shot

I didn't realise until I was reviewing the shots later, due to the lack of watering facilities on mainlines these days.

And looking at your location you may find it frustrating to know that it was booked to stop at Botley for water in both directions.:|

You have a lovely sharp coloutful image somewhat let down by the composition.. the bushes really ditract with the bottom part of the Loco missing

I love how uncluttered it is but surely there was somewhere you could of got it minus the bushes!!!

Trying to find some accessible lineside with totally unobstructed views is pretty rare these days, Network Rail don't consider gardening a very high priority The problem with shooting at Botley onthe out run it would be the shadow side, and on the return it would be dark, hence my choice of location.

thought i'd post my effort in here rather then starting a new topic for it, not a bad effort dude, but i prefer to see the whole train? but regardless a nice sharp pic
