Not sure if these should go in people or landscapes but anyway, went on a trip there the other day so here's a few photos.

Some time ago, we had a number of shots that showed down beat images of Blackpool. I think the "Make Blackpool Beautiful" committee might be on your trail. These are a good documentary of how Blackpool is. The locals recognise that Blackpool is a town in decline and without a plan to recover, you've captured that very well.
 
I really like the muted tones which gives them a 50s feel and also makes the towns look a bit bleak...(y)

You might want to think about cleaning your sensor though ;)

Like the tracks in the sand and dispite the flare the bloke with the dog

Thank you for the comment, really does mean alot because thats exactly the kinda of response I was after. Ive known that Blackpool is in a steady decline for years but Ive always got the impression that the local council have always tried to 'big it up' making it out to be a fantastic place, often comparing it to places like Las Vagas haha

And yes I know I have a dirty sensor, Im cleaning it this week... Still its not as bad as my D50, thats got a hair on it:thumbsdown:
