With the weather forecast for today I decided to forfeit sleep, after my night shift, and head off into the lakes. Unfortunately I spent the best part of the early light stood in a thick mist at Elterwater with little to show for it.
I decided a quick trip up to Blea Tarn was in order and just about managed to catch the last of any decent light.
