Had a play with this image
was a 3 shot HDR then used pixel blender on it

That takes a bit of getting your head around but I really like it it works really well and the colours really make the image for me it looks almost like an oil painting

I wasnt sure of it at first but the more you look at it the better it gets.. it's like a piece of art maybe look good at a bigger size even huge maybe even a poster

Really, really like that Jim.

I'm not generally a huge fan of this type of plug-in, but I think you've found a subject that it works brilliantly with It looks like it should be an illustration in a book of fairy tales.

If I had one niggle, I'd like to see that bright patch on the lower branches of the tree toned down. I'm finding it just a touch distracting - only a tiny thing, but I think that fixing it would make a huge difference.
