Portrait of an usher at a wedding, I did a few months back.
Slight levels and curves adjustment in photoshop.
Canon EOS 1DMKIII
Canon 50mm F1.2L USM
Canon 580EX speedlight (fill in flash)

That's a nice shot. A lovely smile and boy are those eyes intense!
 
Thanks, I noticed his eyes right away and thought he would make a great portrait.
 
Last time I saw eyes like that were on a film and they could cut through metal
 
They are very blue, levels and curves tweak brought them out more though.

Thats a great shot - those eyes really do stand out! May I suggest a slight sharpen on the boys face? it looks slightly soft here. The jacket and everything is sharp as but the face just lacks that extra punch.

The pic needs no sharpening I have had an 3 print done for his mum and dad and its pin sharp. You can see the fine hair on his face its that sharp.
 
Fair enough - just compared to the sharpness of the rose and tie, the cheeks and lips look like they could do with a slight sharpen. but if your happy with it thats all that matters (y)

Think it's just the way it looks on screen, the eyes are the sharpest point as thats what I focused on.

this little man has definately been on here before, couldnt forget those blue eyes, the flower and the tie are sharper than his face. Just in my opinion
