Ah well this is my last thread Hope you like the image - this bougainvillea flowers in our conservatory and garden on a regular basis - never as vibrant as those I see abroad but pretty nonetheless

Lovely composition and colours. I like the sharp left leaf in focus, but wonder if it would be better with the entire centre are in focus. I think you would need to "stack it"?

A new technique to learn You cracked HDR, focus stacking I bet you could master.

For the record, I am CRAP at macro. So if I had taken this, I would be chuffered.

That's a beauty John and a lovely splash of colour for a very grey New Year's day I really like your dof and the way the the shape of the subject mirrors the shapes in the background

Nice shot John I wish you had of snapped off the droopy draws at the bottom though. super contrasting colours.
