Hi

Just to add, although its a Springtail, this is one of the 'globular' springtails - I guess because of its shape. If you really want to know the ID down to species level I know of someone that I can point here to have a look for you if you like.

HI Linda - thanks for the offer, a kind person on Flickr has id this as a Bourletiella hortensis .
