Break Glass For Colour

I know its very much like selective colour, but that wasn't what i was thinking at the time. I had this idea of breaking through the glass to let the colour into a monochromatic existence. Kind of being in a black and white prison with all the colours outside. Did it work?

Works for me too, excellent example of when selective can work.

Thing is Rob, you thought originally and tried something different. And it worked a treat.

first time I've seen selective colouring done this way

very well thought out and executed
 
I like it too, I'd like to see the focus reversed for the same shot, I keep scrolling back up and squinting!
 
i'm not usually a fan of selective but that works
 
excellent original thought, soon to be copied i feel. watch out for it in a camera mag soon ....just make sure its your one they are showing (y)
 
cool idea.... image works nicely with or without the colour added....
