Sky News : US news channel Fox New reports that at least 20-30 people are injured and several drivers or pedestrians have been thrown into the water.

News is very scarce on the internet at the moment, it's only *just* breaking news.

Can't find any reports of anyone dead, but 20-30 injured it seems.

Shocking stuff....

Looks like there is at least one fire underneath one of the collapsed sections now.

:-(

Somebody is going to be in deep poo over that, it was only 40 years old and was supposedly checked last year.

was saying 7 dead on the radio a few minutes ago :(

Seemingly the bridge was undergoing structural work at the time.

OMG! I hate crossing bridges as it is for that exact reason.

Natsy stuff:(. Someones going to be in big trouble.

I've been over that bridge many, many times. A good friend of mine drives it every day home from work. He would've normally been on the bridge at the time of day that it collapsed, but he worked overtime that day.

Very scary stuff.

I was horrified when I saw this, really awful. My cousin drives across this bridge every day to get to work, He just happened to leave work early that day do see his daughter before she went to bed and missed the collapse by about an hour. really frightening.
