Bridge...does it work ?

Nice scene. But the bridge looks out of focus to me.
Could be my eyes though, they are getting very old.

Agreed about the focus. Plus a slightly higher perspective and removing the distracting lag/debris to the right - or is that light reflecting off the water? In any case, I find it a distraction

the focus is on the grass not sure if that how it was intended if it was then i think it is spot on

I like it very much, including the OOF bridge, the beautifully sharp foreground and the consequent feeling of depth, and the lovely rich, dark colours.

Indeed,i was focusing on the reed's as i wanted the bridge to be in the background.......

BTW, can you post it again to max 800px width, as it will make it much easier to see.

I think if you intended to focus on the grass then the bridfe needs to be much more out of focus. At the moment your eye is drawn to the bridge, but its soft. If it were really out of focus then your eye would go to the grass more readily.

Don't do a link - they are tedious and people don't click them. Open an account in Photobucket - its free - and upload your photos first selecting the tag just under "Upload Photos and Videos" named "more options". Select "15" Screen or 800 x 600".
