Broken Canon 24-70L, where do i send it to?

My 24-70 L died yesterday during a wedding....I know!

I managed it with a 16-35 L, 50/1.4, 85/1.8 and a 135 L thank god, and i hope the photos will come out well.

Anyway, i need to fix the lens and i am thinking joing CPS, will that speed up matters? And what gear do i need to qualify? Also one of the lenses i bought was second hand....how does that work under the CPS?

Finally, where do i send it to to get it fixed?
 
I never really found CPS membership any quicker, it doesn't matter if it's second hand provided you have the reciept they will fix it, so long as it's still in warranty of course.
You can send it to any canon service & repair centre thats listed on canon's website to do camera's and such kit.
