Went to a damp Donington for the BRSCC races in the afternoon, total of 10 races in one afternoon, the rain cleared up, but it felt like winter, the track was dry for all but 2 races. Here's a few pics, alot are from the same place as i didn't move round a lot. There are more HERE

Lovely set, all very clear and sharp. Very well caught on #4 as well (y)

Guess you must be who I was speaking to on the trek back from McLean's, you got some good shots there. I've not checked my shots of the LMA saloons yet, but think I've got the Flymo Megane going across the grass, was quite pleased seeing that.

Hope you didn't go today, it got rained off before lunch, then properly cancelled about 3pm. Something to do with a hole in the track caused by the rain/the infamous tunnel...

Thanks. No i don't think that was me who spoke to ya sorry. Did you have a 300 f4 because i saw someone with one who i was going to have a chat with, but i do recall seeing one person with a camera with another person in tow by the old hairpin. Yeah that Megane, i saw him trying to correct it, and thought that was it, he's going to hit the tyres, but he saved it albeit the filthy car. Did you see that Caterham that went off at Mcleans too, the one that caused the red flag?

Superb shots, all so crisp and clear, with great movements, was this, meeting this weekend, becasue V7 that Radical, was at Silverstone today aswell at the FPA MSVR Race weekend?

Scott

Thanks Scott, yes this meeting was this weekend.

Doh! It was the guy with the 300f4 I was speaking to! I wasn't round there after lunch, too far to walk!

That will be me...:) Was a wet morning but dried up for the afternoon, will put my attempt at taking pictures up in a short while.

Superb shots, number 4 was well caught...:clap:(y)

Great shots, as usual, Danny. Love the 'dirtiness' of the megane.
I did think of going, but it was chucking it down most of the time?

Thanks, yeah i meant to chat to you too, as i saw you had a 300 f4, i was going to ask about the lens, sorry i never did. How do you find the lens for motorsport, especially at Donington. Look forward to your photo's.

Thanks Wull and Simon, i got there just before 1.30 just in time for the races, it had just about stopped raining by then, but it was very windy too.

These are really good chap, well done. Shows what can be done behind the fence. I suspect the overcast day helps get through the fence a bit better. Had a quick look at some shots on your gallery too, good stuff and nice to see cars in the background too :)

<holy thread revival batman!>

More like "Holy they repaired the track in double quick time, must be a miracle, Batman":LOL:
I was shocked to see a post of a Donington set of shots. Then I saw the date the thread was started.:nono:
Got to love that Mondeo though, shame Hogarth is putting it into partial retirement now.:crying:
