I always think these look like like a buffalo from the side - followed this chap from dandelion to dandelion for ages - only managed to get a couple worth keeping though - I just love insect macro its like watch a bbc documentary through the lens, I was just fascinated how he snuffled his way through the pollen heavy dandelions....

Haha you're like me. Sometimes I just sit and watch through the viewfinder. I've tried to film it using the video mode on the camera but it's so so difficult to keep anything in focus.

Lovely shots Gary. Seems this bee was having a great time.
