found my camera, was where i left it, slapped on an extention tube(9.99, ebay) to see whats what!

both taken with tamrom lens and a tube, aperture unknown as the tubes are cheap and dont take the signal to the lens...both images cropped, sharpened and levels tweaked

Bit messy is the background for the Hoverfly ... imo ! But it is lovely and crisp all the same !

I tried a similar flower to yours and just could not get the depth of colour you have managed for some reason !

It IS messy but it works, the lighter colours seem to help the hoverfly stand out.
