Bumble bee on moss

Looking at an image and description in Collins Complete British Insects, I think this may be Bombus terrestris, and possibly a queen.

Captured two days ago on a small patch of moss on the side of our tiny (stagnant, still awaiting reconstruction) pond. Captured hand-held with FZ330, Raynox 150 and KX800 twin flash. Batch processed with DXO Optics Pro and Silkypix Developer Pro, with image-specific adjustments in Lightroom. There are 1300 pixel high versions in this album at Flickr.

Absolutely Superb Nick Super detail. I have been chasing birds lately but after seeing these I think it's time to get out the macro gear
