Both shots have definite potential. The boat shot is fine, but let down by a lack of sharpness, the tilted horizon, the odd colour cast in the sky, and the presence of the aeroplane. The composition of the shot with the building is very good with it off-centre, and the island as background interest to the right. The colour is a bit brownish, and the sky seems to have some unrealised potential in it. Corrected verticals and horizon would help here too. I'd be interested to see your starting points with both images.

I love the boat image, but it does look a bit soft unfortunately. The other image is nice.

The sky looks over ppd (pinkish) You should clone out the UFO, ( or whatever it is) in the sky above the boat. Welcome to the forum.
