butterfly ID requested (great banded grayling)

I shot this in the garden in mid July, I didn't get a top shot, and didn't really think too much about about it, but I can't ID the thing…. I'm sure it must be something obvious but it eludes me completely. Any suggestions appreciated.

looks like a Marbled White but not convinsed yours GWH

This is a male, the females are a slightly brownish shade.

Have a tentative ID, Great banded grayling - Kanetisa circe. I think this is the one, it's a non UK species.

Yes it is a Kanetisa circe indeed, also known as Great banded grayling. Its one of the Satyridae Family of Butterflies. Stunning patterns it has on its wings.
