Buying D90

Hi Folks,
I am intending to get a D90 but could do with some opinions on what to do about lenses. I currently use a D50 which I will probably keep, not because I need two bodies but because it just isn't worth selling for what I could get for it. I also have the 18-55 (non VR) an 18-135 which I use as a walk about, and a 70-300VR. As Jessops are doing the D90 body for £549, but only want £20 more for the body plus 18-55VR, I am thinking it might be better to go for that and sell my 18-55, or sell both that and the18-135 and go for the body plus 18-105. Or should I keep the 18-55 in case I do decide to sell the D50 which might be easier to sell with a lens. I hope all that makes sense.
 
I went thru a similar thing with a D40/D90. Kept both bodies, sold the non-VR 18-55 and kept the VR version which I loan out with the D40. Not sure if a lens will affect the value of the D50 too much, not seen many D50's for sale so don't really know what they go for. Definitely worth paying £20 extra for the VR lens tho, whichever one you decide to keep you'll get more than £20 for the other!

I'd be inclined to stick with the 18-135 too, not sure the 18-105 VR is much of an upgrade, they're both kit lenses so you'll probably want to upgrade at some stage. I ended up with the 16-85, which works very well with the D90.

Jessops 18-55 VR now seems to be +£50 on a D90...?
 
I'd deffo grab the VR for the extra cash - you could always sell it on if you didn't bond with it. I LOVE the 18-135 that you already had, if that had VR then I'd be all over one!
 
I checked at the Merry Hill branch yesterday and the price is indeed £599.99 but apparently they said Nikon are still offering £40 cash back which is obviously why they originally told me £569, I know it doesn't work out exactly but it's near enough
