I was on the hill today to clear some more windblow & decided that as it was such a nice morning I would have a look through for Roe first. Just set off into the wood when the phone went:bang:
No Roe but I did have a fly past of 4 of these:)

Great takes, can't believe how beautiful the day was, unfortunately not able to get out early.

How fantastic, Sawman, and 4 good shots too.

Cracking stuff! (y)

What lens did you use for these, by the way?

Superb!(y)

as an aside ( hope you don't mind Sawman?)
Its interesting to see damaged tail tips (Most obvioius in #3) on a wild hawk, Some falconers freak out if their hawk so much as mis-places a "barb" let alone a complete tip
(Before anyone say's, no its not due to the moult)

Cracking shots, I've been meaning to get a few Buzzard shots myself but not gotten around to it yet, even my dad has managed a few the last couple of weeks so I need to get my finger out.

Mike.

Nice ones SM ... (y) ... I'm guessing these are all the same bird even though you Saw 4 Man ...

Yes I had 4 in the air above me but as I was among trees I only had a small hole in the canopy to shoot through & this one was the most obliging
