Had a fantastic day at CAD West yesterday. The weather was great and we had 28 passes, for a total of 35 planes through between 9:30am and 5:30pm.

Numerous Hawks, 3 passes by an F15-E, King Air 250's, Harriers, GR4's, and an Alpha Jet.

Here is my best shot of the day :

Twas a great day to be sure, nice sharp image of my favourite jet, well done :clap:.

Yep,
I think that was me - I asked about the need for weight training to hold that monster 400mm f2.8 lens :D

I am verypleased with the image - still need lots of practice with my panning though - a good proportion of my images still had motion blur, despite the 1/1000 second shutter speed :eek:

A great shot! You can't beat a bit of fluff on the wings. Only been away for a week now and getting withdrawal already.
