I have two Calumet EN-EL E3/E3e replacement batteries which I use in my D90, D700 and newly arrived D300s.
The D300s arrived this morning, so I put it's new battery on charge and inserted one of the Calumet batteries, which was probably last charged within the last ten days and had since been stored in my camera bag. I have 5 batteries in total and I rotate them, they all get discharged/recharged at least once a fortnight, if not more frequently. Most the batteries are around 12 months old.
Anyway, this battery registered as discharged in the D300s. At it did in the D700 and the D90. So I put it on charge. According to the battery charger, it was fully charged after literally a minute. So I tried the other Calumet battery, first in the D300s and had the same result. Then I tried it in the D90, again it registered as discharged. Then in the D700 it registers as fully charged!!
The already charged genuine Nikon batteries seem to be fine.
I suspect this is a battery meter calibration issue. Any idea how I can resolve it?
