Hi, have a meeting in Cambridge next week and will venture into the city after so was wondering the best locations to visit and places to see. Mainly looking for landscape, buildings but obviously there will be street photography.

All the college buildings. If you enjoy art, visit Kettles Yard.

College buildings are an obvious choice. Be sure to wander inside (if the Porters let you) as the interior architecture can be quiet different. For example; Sidney Sussex (opposite Sainsbury's on Sidney Street) looks like it's all stone from the street (it's not even stone anyway, but that's a different story) but if you wander in, go left through Hall Court and through the passageway, you arrive at the far prettier, brickbuilt Cloister Court. Many other colleges have other hidden gems.
If the person you're meeting is (or knows) an alumnus, ask for their "Cam card". It'll make it easier getting past Porters and even give you free access to King's Chapel. (*) The Porters are often (**) friendly chaps (a lot are ex-forces) and if they're not looking busy, would probably be happy to tell you the best bits of their college.

Also the Senate House, next to King's College and the Fitzwilliam Museum on Fitzwilliam Street are both photogenic.
Kettle's Yard for modern art.
The "New Museum Site" on Downing Street is quite interesting. If it's open, pop into the Sedgwick Museum (Geology department museum). Like a tiny Natural History Museum, but without the hoards of school children.

Libation Stops: Champion of the Thames on King Street for a decent boozer, as yet untouched by the evil hand of the wine bar. The Eagle on Downing Street for a bit of history (was Watson's and Crick's watering hole apparently).

(*) This was the case when I was last there, but this was 3-4 years ago.
(**) Except Trinity College. Everybody there are jerks. ;)

Now just seen the date of your post and realised you've already been. Ah well.

Thanks for info have been but will return again for another photo opportunity.
