Camera Shoe Remote Cord

Hi

I want to use a flash on a bracket using a cord. Can any one please
advise me on which is the best way. I cant see any way the remote cords attach to the brackets. It would be good if flash could be moved to different angles. I will be using 50D with sigma 150mm macro.
Looked through ebay at different stuff but cant really see anything that will do.

If you get a flash bracket it should have a 'shoe', attach a remote cord to camera shoe then the other end to the bracket shoe (where the flash should mount) attach flash to this. Cords are available from Canon, Jessop or Flash in the Pan (on here).

Thank you, that looks like it will attach to a bracket, just need to find a bracket cheap enough, Would go for a ring flash but it needs to be 72mm, they all seem to go up in cost after 67mm.

Any old bracket will do, I use an old Vivitar one which as a handle but you can get a straight flat bracket and use an adjustable foot between bracket and cord.

Thank you, I see the flat brackets, but will check to see if they are plastic or metal. I will check on the adjustable foot also.
