Camera to phone transfer?

We all know how important rapid distribution of newsworthy images can be at times (even if they were shot as JPEG , or perhaps RAW+JPEG). There are two ways I am aware - one - using camera phone - or taking laptop in the camera bag .

I wondered if there is any reasonable way to bypass the laptop and get the JPEGs straight to Android phone? I can use either/both SD and CF media for shooting.

That would be also great for assessing lens quality before buying...

Can you get the sdhc card with built in wifi to work. You can set them up to send images to anywhere straight from camera when your in a wifi hotspot and dont need your phone with you either.

The new Eye-Fi cards can send direct to iPhone/iPad, think they can with android as well. I was doing it yesterday, RAW to CF and JPEG to SD slot with the Eye-Fi card in. You only need the smallest card too so only about £50.
