Hi folks,

When I've previously been to Lord's I've used my camera phone but watching the World Twenty 20 Cricket I've noticed quite a few people with SLR's.
I'm home for the 2nd Ashes test and was wondering if anyone knows the regulations regarding SLR cameras?
It says nothing on my tickets and I can't see anything on the Lord's website.

Thanks,
Paul

this is all I could find, not sure if it helps.

It also says this.
f. Mobile Devices (including, but not restricted to, telephones, radios, cameras, music players, video recorders and players, watches, computers and other electrical or electronic devices) may be used subject to the following restrictions applying to their use, and for the purpose of this Regulation the Ground is divided into three Areas, as follows:

Found a bit more in the rules.

h. It is prohibited for any photograph, video recording, film, sketch, painting or other image produced within Lord’s Cricket Ground to be used for any commercial purpose, including (without limitation) for any commercial reproduction and distribution, whether as a freestanding image/recording or by application or incorporation of the same to or in any goods or use in connection with the provision of any services. The making of any such image for any of the commercial purposes referred to above is likewise prohibited save with the prior authorisation, in writing, of the Secretary & Chief Executive.

It seems to say you can`t take images for comercial use, but says nothing about private use.

However, watch out for the stupidity that comes about when they tell you that your camera looks professional therefore you are clearly a commercial photographer....
